Some people removed their RAM and ran the pc without RAM. So don't rule them out if you have this issue. But others have had success with the above things. You can find the 8-pin power socket beside your CPU socket. If you have recently bought this motherboard, then see if you have plugged in the 8-pin power connector needed for the CPU. It seems the 5 beeps can be caused by a few things. One of the main causes of orange light on Gigabyte B365m ds3h could be the missing 8-pin power connector. I switched display cables and boom, up and running. Two different processors, two different motherboards from gigabyte, I've read voltages, reset cmos, reseated ram, reseated the cpu idk how many times! 5 beeps everytime! Which according to gigabyte is a cpu error. I've been banging my head for the last week over this.

Long story short if you purchase the KF flavor of the CPUs, they do not have an onboard video chip so the onboard video slots will never work. I would download again and reinstall from the new download. I Q-Flashed the BIOS with the latest and the beeping stopped, but the VGA light was still on and it did not boot. Messed with turning monitor on right before boot (as suggested here), different monitors, RAM, CPU, CPU Cooler, etc. (Some of you know where this is headed.) It would boot to black, beep 5 times then appear not to boot up (I didn't have a hard drive in it yet either). I did not have a video card in it yet and was just trying to get it running using the onboard video. I purchased a Z690 AORUS Elite AX DDR4 with the Intel i7-12700KF and I was getting the 5 beeps and the red VGA light on the motherboard. TLDR: don't turn pc on without monitor signal if your running a gigabyte mobo with one of the new rtx graphics cards or it will beep at you. This seems like something gigabyte should look into as the 5 beeps meaning 2 different things is really confusing and had me panicking my new cpu was faulty. Long story short if the graphics card doesn't pick up a signal from your monitors it lets out these 5 beeps don't stress just reset the computer and make sure your monitors are on and you will find this time it will start up with the normal 1 beep and no vga light. I looked over the gigabyte beep codes and 5 beeps meant cpu error however my cpu seemed to be running fine and getting picked up fine I tried everything removing ram, changing bios settings (one setting i changed enabling CSM meant i had a completely different beep code) only to find out 4 days later that its simply a conflict with the new graphics cards and the mobo. However the pc started up fine and everything seemed to be running. I built a new computer and used the gigabyte z490 ultra motherboard also got my hands on the rtx 3080 when I started up the computer I was met with 5 semi long beeps from the motherboard and then the vga led on the motherboard came on. I just want to make this post incase it helps anyone else out and saves them all the trouble I had.
